THOMAS WOLF

Thomas Wolf began his professional journey in Physics but ultimately found his true calling in Computer Science. After obtaining his degree from Ecole Polytechnique and his Ph.D. in Statistical/Quantum physics at Sorbonne University and ESPCI (Paris, France), he made a career switch to Intellectual Property Law. He worked as a Patent Attorney at Cabinet Plasseraud for five years. In 2015, the emerging wave of AI/ML startups sparked his interest in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, bringing him back to science and coding. His friend's offer to start Hugging Face, an ambitious project, led him to co-found the company.
